Chris is the CInO and co-founder of Exosuit. He is responsible for product innovation & development, as well as leading on marketing, web design and growth.
Chris’ journey in sport began at Loughborough University in the UK. After completing a degree in Sports Technology, he took up a PhD in Sports Biomechanics in collaboration with England Cricket, focussed on the kinematics of batting in cricket. Over the next 6 years he worked on various projects with the elite players and coaches, including a substantial Power Hitting Project with the England Men’s ODI squad in the lead up to the 2019 World Cup.
While finishing his PhD thesis, Chris moved to Sydney where he took up a couple of performance cricket coaching roles with St George DCC and Kingsgrove Sports. After returning to the UK in 2016 Chris lived primarily as a consultant and university teacher, working on projects with the International Cricket Council and various high-performance sports teams.
It’s during this time where Chris met Jamas, and Exosuit began to move forward as a background project.
After a brief spell at Jaguar Land Rover in safety & crash simulation, Chris moved to London to work on Exosuit full time. Having built up a decent network in the sports world, Chris was able to bring in help from a few friends to make fast progress, eventually seeing the EXO1 top ready for market in summer 2019.
As a proper sports nut, Chris can’t wait to help grow Exosuit, and develop further products & innovative solutions to the issues we all experience during exercise. He hopes Exosuit will become a household name in performance sportswear, and stay at the cutting edge of sports design.
