Having represented Saracens, Bedford Blues, Bishops Stortford, and Cambridge University, Al Gliksten is a young scrum half with some serious experience at the highest level.  Al came on board as our third ambassador, and by managing to combine rugby with study he is an unbelievable role model for all aspiring rugby players.

Al started with Saracens Academy young, eventually making his senior debut in a winning performance in the Anglo-Welsh Cup.  In 2018 Al took an opportunity to play for the Ontario Arrows in Major League Rugby Canada, before returning to the UK and a spot in the seriously professional Bedford Blues squad.

More recently Al moved to Cambridge, where he is combining a university degree with Varsity rugby and club appearances at Bishops Stortford.  In 2019 Al became one of very few rugby players to make an appearance at Twickenham, in a victory over Oxford in the Varsity Match.

Although Al’s rugby career is young we think there are big things ahead for him, and can’t wait to see how he evolves within the sport.

What Al says about Exosuit:

“Wearing the Exosuit gives me the confidence to train and play at 100%.  The biggest benefit I feel when I wear the EXO1 is that it provides support to my upper back and shoulders without being restrictive. This allows me to pass with power and tackle with confidence for the full 80 minutes.”
